Rotweiss vinimport er særdeles stolt over - med eneret for Danmark - at kunne præsentere den talentfulde Maria Furgiero fra byen Bacoli der ligger ca. 30 km sydvest for Napoli. Maria´s sortiment består af blot 3 vine; 1 hvid og 2 røde men hvilke vine!!! Autentiske, naturlige og i den grad velsmagende vine fremstillet på så spændende druer som Falanghina, Piedirosso og Aglianico. Det lyder måske som volapyk for nogle, men smag dem; Du vil ikke blive skuffet! Glem dine Primitivoer fra supermarkedet, glem dine bombastiske Baroloer og se helt bort fra massefremstillede vine, der systematisk pumpes ud i handlen uge efter uge: her taler vi om DEN ÆGTE VARE!


Maria håndplukker sine druer, anvender kurvepresse og er i det hele taget særdeles omhyggelig med sit arbejde i såvel mark som kælder. De 3 vine fremstilles i et særdeles lille antal; 1220 flasker Demetra 2015 , 2140 flasker VIR’ Tù 2018 og 2260 flasker Persefone 2018; Thats It !!!


Beliggende i "vristen" af Italien nyder vinmarkerne godt af de milde vinde fra det Tirriniske hav - og så naturligvis en hel del sol :-) Campania er et af de områder, som mange internationale eksperter siger, der skal holdes nøje øje med de kommende år; Vi tror dem!

Maria har en Ph.d. i sproglig og kulturel formidling, fortolkning og oversættelse, men finder det mere interessant at beskæftige sig med vin :-)

Variety: Piedirosso or Per e’ Palummo native grape.

First produced in 2017

Production zone: Cigliano, ancient volcano of Campi Flegrei exposed to the sun where you can admire the amazing view of Gulf of Pozzuoli.

Altitude of vineyards: 200 m. on sea level

Training system: Guyot

Density of vineyard: around 8000 mq

Soil characteristics: calcareous clay, sandy franc and Pozzolana Land (land rich of

minerals and volcanic elements)

Harvest time: on average in the last week of September, first week of October

Winemaking: The grapes manually harvested, are winemaking in traditional

method using TORCHIO A MANO (kurvepresse) with consecutive fining in steel and glass.

Material Fermentation: stainless steel and glass

Fermentation temperature: 20 ° C

Alcohol content: 12 %

 

BOTTLES PRODUCED: 2140

Tasting Note:

ViR’ Tù has a red ruby color, with delicate and intense fragrance with fruit, floral and

mineral smell typical of this wine variety. On the palate we find the evident fruity note

again, with fresh and balanced taste. Good tannin

Aging Potential: to be enjoyed within 2 years

Serving suggestions: it goes well with cheeses, cold cuts and red meats. Culinary

Originality : It is ideals also with sea food.

Artistic Label: The image of the landscape was drawn stricly by hand. Vir’Tù term of Neapolitan dialect means Look, Admire the magnificent view of Gulf of Pozzuoli, seen from vineyard of Cigliano.

Variety: 100% Aglianico cultivated on the vineyards of

Roccamonfina, ancient dormant volcano in Campania Region, South of Italy.

Soil characteristics: The several eruptions have made chalky

soil rich of mineral

Harvest time: on average in the last week of October

Winemaking: The grapes harvested, are winemaking in

traditional method with consecutive fining in steel and glass.

Material Fermentation: stainless steel and glass

Fermentation temperature: 16 ° C

Alcohol content: 13 %

BOTTLES PRODUCED: N. 1220

After 3 years ageing, this wine acquires the following

tasting notes

 

Tasting Note:

Demetra has a red rubin with violet reflections with intense aromas of black berry and ribes,

mineral and floral smell of withered rose typical of this variety.

On the palate we find the evident fruity note, with Full-body and complex taste thanks to

presence of tannins

Serving suggestions: This vine intensifies the taste of well- aged cheeses. It is suitable for

structured and seasoned pasta dishes. Ideal also with red meat dishes.

thanks to the proximity of the sea.

Tasting Notes

A volcanic explosion of aromas and flowers brings a wine with brilliant straw yellow and

greenish reflections. Persefone offers a fresh bouquet with notes of white fleshed fruit with

distinct minerality.

Daughter of Greek Goddess Demetra, Persefone is Goodess of flowers, nature, and life. She was kidnapped by God of the Underworld, “Ade”, she is forced to live underground during winter months; In spring goes up from the underworld to bring abondance and life to nature.
